Is shopping online always cheaper? The answer is no. Here is my recent experience at Banana Republic.
I bought a dress on sale in a retail store for about $30.00. When I browsed at their website, the same dress in the same color is selling at $70+ (you probably need to pay extra for shipping as well). The dress is also indicated as a sale item on the website.
Some people may be willing to pay the premium for convenience though.
